Homeopathic remedies have been used for centuries in countless cultures around the world. Hearbalism was used throughout medieval Europe. Medicine men can be found in both North and South Americas through out history. China, the great empire, has an old medicine that has been practiced for countless years. Western medicine is the youngest amongst all of the much older practices. Sometimes a culture needs to look back into the old days. For several hundred years, Japan, Tibet, China and Switzerland have been using the Goji berry for its homeopathic benefits. Studies show that it even fights cancer.
Germanium is the cancer fighting property found concentrated in the Goji berry. The Japanese have found that Germanium can be used to treat testicular cancer in men as well as uterine and cervical cancer in women. It has also been show to be effective on cancer of the lungs and liver. Germanium enhances the human body’s production of g-interferon which helps to slow the growth of cancer cells.
Another wonderful benefit of the Goji berry is that it is a delicious and nutritious fruit that can be eaten raw, juiced or cooked. Also known to strengthen the immune system, the Goji berry promotes an overall euphoric healthy feeling.

The benefits of eating organic fruits and vegetables.
We all hear about the reasons why we should all be eating organic fruits and vegetables, and the evils of pesticides and insecticides that are used on most plants, but is there really that big of a difference? Organic fruits and vegetables are obviously more expensive than regular fruits and vegetables, so why would anyone want to pay more money for the same exact thing?
Well, one of the first things that come to mind when considering whether to go organic or not is the whole reason they're organic in the first place. What does it mean when something is organic? It means no pesticides or insecticides! It is all natural, so not only is there no harm to the environment from the use of pesticides, but it also won't end up on the same exact things you're going to eat.
Another great thing about organic food is the fact that it has higher nutrient levels. Also, most commercial fruits and vegetables are mostly made up of 'wet weight' while organic fruits have more 'dry weight'. This means that organic products, although not as 'big and juicy' looking, actually contain more 'food' as the commercial fruits and vegetables are mostly full of water. Plus, there are higher levels of all those good things that fruits and vegetables are supposed to have in them such as the mineral levels in both are higher.
So deciding on what is better for you, organic or not, should now be easy to see. However, whether or not you're ready to shell out some extra money every week on groceries is the only hard part. Organic fruits and vegetables are not also only better for you, but usually taste much better as well. All in all, organic is usually the way to go.
