When you are considering supplementing your diet with Goji Berries or Goji Juice you will find that there is some controversy as to which one is better for you. There is a definite preference among consumers for either, one or the other.
Let us examine the advantages of Goji Berries:
-They are not adulterated. The fruit cannot be adulterated with other things. They are either dried or fresh and come as is. Try to get organically grown ones so that you can get pure Goji Berries.
-They can be taken anywhere: you can use them for snacks in their dried form. Some people add them to different foods like yogurt and salads. If you find them fresh you can eat Goji Berries as is, or make them into a tasty fresh fruit salad. You can also add them to your breakfast cereal as a delicious start to the day.
-Not processed: if they are fresh they will not lose any of their nutrition qualities.
Goji Berries do have their disadvantages:
-They are a little sourer than Goji Juice. This can be a problem for some but they can easily be added to cereal or yogurt for a milder taste.
-The fruits are not readily available in their fresh form. Unfortunately the Goji Berries are hard to get fresh and only dried ones are usually available. Dried ones are processed and lose most of their nutrients.
-The best fruits are shade dried ones from the Himalayas.
Goji Juice advantages:
-Convenient: You only need to take this supplement once a day. It is easy just to open a bottle of Goji Juice and drink it.
-Easily available: There are many companies selling it, making it easy to get. All you have to do is a little research to ensure purity, and be sure you are purchasing the genuine product.
-Pleasant tasting: Goji Juice is a pleasant tasting juice and is a refreshing beverage on a hot summer day.
Disadvantages:
-Due to processing some of the nutrients are lost. Pasteurizing the juice exposes it to heat that can destroy some of the nutrients.
-Goji Juice is often adulterated with cheaper fruit juices.
When you buy Goji Juice, you'll want to find out how the juice is manufactured to receive the most nutrients. Now you know a little about both forms of this product you can make an educated decision about which one you prefer. Usually, Goji Juice is preferred to Goji Berries because of it's higher nutritional value.

Blue Mangosteen - The Power to Cheat Aging?
It has been estimated that each one of the trillion or so cells in your body receives about 10,000 hits by free radicals (reactive oxygen molecules) each and every day. Free radical damage is on the rise due to increased pollution, more stressful lifestyles, mineral-deficient diets, exposure to radiation due to flying and other causes, etc. Antioxidants help to neutralize and eliminate free radicals, and may help combat age-related degeneration of cells and body tissue. Antioxidant supplementation has the power to boost our body's defenses especially when the antioxidants are of an extraordinary quality.
Recent scientific inquiry has revealed the extraordinary benefits of the Mangosteen and its rich supply of antioxidants called Xanthones. Studies have shown that Mangosteen fruit contains 43 of the approximately 200 different types of Xanthones known.
Mangosteen is a tropical evergreen tree, believed to have originated in the Sunda Islands of the Malay Archipelago and the Moluccas Islands of the Republic of Indonesia. The tree grows from 7 to 25 meters tall. The rind of the edible fruit is a deep reddish purple when ripe. The fragrant edible flesh of the fruit is sweet and creamy, citrusy with some peach flavor. Mangosteen is closely related to other edible tropical fruits such as button mangosteen and lemondrop mangosteen and has been used for centuries in Ayurvedic, Chinese and folk medicine to treat dysentery, diarrhea, inflammation, skin disorders and other ailments.
Blue Mangosteen is different from plain Mangosteen in that it is specially-enhanced with a unique blue-pigment spectrum extract of Klamath Blue-Green Algae (Aphanizomenon Flos-Aquae). This extract contains significant amounts of the health-enhancing, blue antioxidant, phycocyanin and the extract also contains mental-focus supporting phenylethylamines (PEA's). The rare, blue phycocyanin helps fight inflammation and it also helps the body to produce more rejuvenating stem cells. Research on the health-enhancing effects of phycocyanin may be found in the book: Primordial Food by Christian Drapeau, MSc.
This souped-up mangosteen powder is specially processed to maximize assimilation and enhance the body's natural inflammation fighting response. It is specially formulated to work synergistically with the algae extract and is further enhanced by a special blend of minerals to provide an exclusive antioxidant product for maximum and unprecedented beneficial joint and immune system support. Currently, there is only one provider of certified-organic Mangosteen powder in a botanical formula.
Blue Mangosteen is thought to promote healthy joints and to help fight inflammation and free-radical scavenging due to its high antioxidant levels. In addition, people have reported greater mental energy, focus and attention span as well as an enhanced immune system and an overall sense of well-being. As a point of reference, two capsules of Blue Mangosteen is approximately equivalent to the quantity of mangosteen extract in two ounces of the mangosteen juices currently available. Importantly, Blue Mangosteen is an entirely organic product, while at present there are no organic Mangosteen juices available.
